MyPeakChallenge

Today i'm going to talk about a good charity cause.

The lovely Sam Heughan, together with his personal trainers (Fight Camp) and the sport clothes company he promotes (Bear Strength) has created an event to collect money for leukaemia and limphoma reasearch. And of course i'm going to take part.

You have to choose your challenge, to inscribe you in Mypeakchallenge web and get your peak. With the inscription you'll receive instructions and a lot of support.

You can find more information here:

You can also have information and support in these social networks accounts:

At the moment i'm training for my challenge, i'll talk about it another day. I'm going to do it in Madrid, Spain. If you are in Spain and are interested too, we have created a facebook group to talk about all of this.

The Peak Challenge will be 14/15 March. I hope more people to join this, it will be great.  Wish all of us good luck ;)

Experimental Archaeology, ancient writing (Some things i've made these days)

Here is some "experimetal archaeology" things i've made, based all of them in the ancient writing. The most difficult one was the sculpture one (fist time using a hammer and a chisel, i had some kind of class from a proffesional sculptor). Of course about languages were more difficult akkadian and micenic.

The Flamethrowers

I wanted to tell about this since some weeks ago, but i've been busy with other things. But finally here it is.

"The Flamethrowers" is the new book by Rachel Kushner, and i love it.

A couple of months ago, someone told me about this book. Since i consider that person interesting and smart, i decided to give a chance to the book. At the beginning i thought i wasn't going to like it cause i read it was about the adventures of a young women who loves motorbike and art in NY. I like New York and the art, but i'm not a motorbike girl, so...

But i have to say that this book got me from the beginning, and i read it in only a couple of days. I liked so much, i can understand why. And at the end is more about the relationships than other things. Perhaps i didn't like much the end, but it's necessary to understand that the story is only a chapter of this woman's life.

I read it in english, but i know you can also find it in Spanish.

So if you are looking for something new and good to read, here you have "The Flamethrowers".

Man Ray and the city.

I've had some hard weeks lately, so some days ago i decided that i need to go out and relax myself doing something interesting.

I knew there was a little photography exhibition about Man Ray, so i wen to see it. It was little but beautiful, and so inspiring for me. I liked a lot.

It was a beautiful fresh spring day, so after that i went for a walk around the city, and i found also some street art.
